I like the idea of providing access to private cars not used otherwise. It's practical and sustainable. However, if you get into trouble with a car you rent via Turo, don't expect any help. My car broke down (exhaust) on the evening of December 30. I had to wait 5 hours for road service assistance that didn't show up in the car. I could rebook an alternative once the car was finally towed (two days later). Finally, I had to pay the damage while still waiting for reimbursement (Uber, rental car)
